Liquid-cooled Ryzen 9 workstation

This desktop pairs a twelve-core AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a four-terabyte NVMe drive handle active workloads, while a ten-terabyte hard drive stores archives. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and fits in a mid-tower case.

Upgrade from air-cooled builds

The 240 mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable at high boost clocks during long renders or simulations. Builders moving from a smaller SSD gain the 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO for fast project access. The jump is worth it when single-thread speed and sustained multi-core throughput matter more than core count alone.

PCIe 4.0 storage ceiling

The motherboard provides four M.2 slots wired for PCIe 4.0 x4, limiting future NVMe drives to the same 7450 MB/s read ceiling. USB4 ports deliver 40 Gbps bandwidth, but the board lacks PCIe 5.0 storage lanes. Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5 Gb Ethernet handle networking without extra cards.
