12-Core Workstation for Modelling and AI

This desktop pairs a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card, 64GB DDR5 memory and a 4TB NVMe SSD plus 10TB hard drive. The combination targets professionals running modelling, editing, rendering and AI learning workloads that demand high single-thread frequency and large GPU memory. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the fast boot drive.

240mm Liquid Cooler and 1000W Gold PSU

A 240mm quiet-edition AIO liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal load while front 200mm ARGB fans and a rear 120mm fan move air through the CoolerMaster HAF 500 chassis. The Thermaltake Toughpower 1000W 80 PLUS Gold supply uses Japanese main capacitors and a 140mm fan to deliver stable power with low acoustic output under sustained workstation loads.

Samsung 990 PRO SSD and High-Speed I/O

The 4TB Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0x4 drive provides sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s for rapid project loading. The TUF X870-PLUS motherboard adds two USB4 40Gbps Type-C ports, three USB 10Gbps ports, four USB 5Gbps ports and Wi-Fi 7 2x2 connectivity, while Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet and Realtek 7.1 surround audio complete the wired and wireless interface set.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 240 mm liquid CPU cooler and which step is most often missed?

Mount the radiator to the case using the included brackets, connect the pump to the CPU_FAN header and the fans to SYS_FAN headers, then route the tubes without kinks — the step most often missed is plugging the pump into the dedicated CPU_FAN header instead of a generic fan header.

What maintenance or replacement will the 240 mm liquid cooler need later?

The sealed AIO loop requires no coolant refills; plan to clean the radiator fins and replace the two 120 mm fans when noise or airflow drops, typically after several years of continuous use.

What limit appears first during sustained heavy workloads on the Ryzen 9 9900X3D?

The 240 mm radiator surface area becomes the thermal bottleneck first; under prolonged all-core loads the coolant temperature rises until the fans hit maximum speed, capping further frequency headroom.
