16-Core Ryzen 9 9950X Workstation

This new tower desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with 32GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card. A 360mm liquid cooler handles CPU thermals inside an Antec P20 mid-tower case. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the 8TB NVMe SSD array.

Media creators and gamers needing quiet multi-core

The 16 cores and 32 threads suit rendering, compilation and high-refresh gaming. Buyers who require more than 12GB of video memory or more than 32GB of system memory out of the box should consider other configurations. The four total memory slots allow expansion up to 192GB.

8TB NVMe plus 10TB HDD storage

Two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes over PCIe 4.0. A 10TB mechanical drive with 256MB cache adds bulk capacity. This combination covers active project space and long-term archives in a single chassis.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 8 TB NVMe or the 10 TB hard drive for my main games?

The 8 TB NVMe uses two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives reaching 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write, so games load far faster than from the 10 TB hard drive.

What does the 5.70 GHz boost clock mean once the Ryzen 9 9950X is inside this liquid-cooled tower?

The 360 mm AIO keeps the 16-core CPU at high frequencies longer, letting the 5.70 GHz boost hold across more threads during heavy workloads.

What does PCIe 4.0 x4 on the motherboard M.2 slots cap the Samsung 990 PRO drives at in practice?

Each 4 TB drive hits its rated 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write because the X870 chipset provides full PCIe 4.0 x4 bandwidth to the M.2 sockets.
