Custom Workstation PC

This desktop arrives as a complete tower system built around a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with integrated Radeon graphics. It targets professionals and enthusiasts who need high multi-threaded throughput for rendering, compilation or AI workloads without installing a discrete card.

Build Integration

The AM5 motherboard provides four memory slots fully populated with 192GB of DDR5, leaving no free DIMM positions for expansion. A 240mm liquid cooler handles the CPU while the 850W PSU powers the platform; integrated Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5Gbps LAN cover networking without add-in cards.

Upgrade Context

The configuration replaces older workstations limited to lower core counts or slower memory, delivering a jump when workloads scale beyond 32 threads or require the 7450 MB/s sequential read ceiling of the included NVMe drive. Buyers who need discrete GPU acceleration or additional internal drive bays should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler keep the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X from throttling during long renders?

The 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO is sized for the 16-core CPU; sustained all-core loads will run warmer than a larger radiator but should stay within thermal limits for typical workstation sessions.

How loud is the 850 W bronze PSU fan when the system draws full power all day?

The Thermaltake Smart 850 W uses a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan that stays low-noise even at higher loads, so background sound remains modest during extended use.

Can I add a discrete graphics card later without changing the motherboard or power supply?

Yes — the TUF X870 motherboard has a PCIe x16 slot and the 850 W bronze PSU provides enough headroom for most mid-range GPUs.
