Workstation for engineering modelling

This desktop pairs a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X with 192GB DDR5 and a Radeon PRO W7800 carrying 32GB of video memory. The combination targets SolidWorks, CAD, CAM and CAE workflows that demand high thread counts and certified professional graphics drivers. Windows 11 Pro ships pre-installed.

Storage and connectivity changes daily use

A 2TB NVMe drive handles active project files while a 10TB hard drive with 256MB cache stores archives and datasets. The motherboard rear panel adds two USB4 40Gbps Type-C ports, one USB 10Gbps port, three USB 5Gbps ports and four USB 2.0 ports. Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5Gb Ethernet give flexible network options.

Liquid cooling and case layout affect maintenance

A 360mm quiet-edition AIO cooler keeps the CPU under load without excessive noise. The Antec P20 mid-tower uses tempered glass panels, three 120mm front fans and dust filters on bottom, front and top. Front-panel I/O includes two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port and audio jacks. An 850W 80 PLUS Bronze supply with a 140mm fan powers the build.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler need refilling or pump replacement during the life of this PC?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is a sealed unit; no refilling is required and the pump is rated for continuous operation without scheduled replacement.

Which component hits its thermal limit first when the Ryzen 9 9950X runs at 5.70 GHz on all 16 cores for hours?

The CPU package temperature will reach its throttle point before the 360 mm radiator saturates, making the processor the first thermal bottleneck.

How loud is the system when the 850 W Bronze PSU and 140 mm fan run alongside the AIO at full load all day?

The Thermaltake 850 W PSU uses an ultra-quiet 140 mm fan and the AIO is a Quiet Edition model, so combined acoustic output stays low even under sustained load.
