Built for SolidWorks and engineering workloads

This desktop pairs a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X with 192GB of DDR5 and an RTX A2000 12GB GPU. The combination targets CAD, CAM and CAE modelling where large assemblies and simulation data need both core count and professional driver stability. Liquid cooling keeps the CPU sustainable during long compute sessions.

4TB Samsung 990 PRO plus 10TB HDD change

The PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive delivers up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write for active project files. The 10TB mechanical drive with 256MB cache absorbs archives, libraries and backups without forcing the fast tier to fill. Together they remove the usual shuffle between scratch disk and bulk storage.

192GB DDR5 at the platform maximum

Four populated slots reach the 192GB ceiling supported by the X870 motherboard, so no further memory expansion is possible. The RTX A2000 12GB frame buffer handles typical professional viewports, but very large GPU-accelerated render jobs will exceed its VRAM. Buyers who need more GPU memory or additional RAM slots should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How often will the 360 mm liquid cooler need its coolant checked or replaced?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is a sealed unit designed for the life of the Ryzen 9 9950X; no user coolant changes are required.

Which component hits its thermal or power ceiling first during prolonged all-core workloads?

The 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU sets the overall power envelope; sustained full-load draws from the 16-core CPU and RTX A2000 will approach this limit before individual thermals throttle.

What noise and heat levels should I expect from the 140 mm PSU fan and 360 mm radiator fans when the system runs continuously?

The Thermaltake Smart 850 W PSU uses an ultra-quiet 140 mm fan, while the 360 mm AIO runs three 120 mm front fans; both are rated for low-noise operation under load.
