Built for SolidWorks and CAE modelling

This workstation pairs a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X with an RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell GPU carrying 24 GB of video memory. The platform targets engineers running multi-threaded simulation, rendering and large assembly workloads. Windows 11 Pro is installed and the system is AI Ready for local inference tasks.

360 mm liquid cooler keeps thermals steady

A 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO handles the CPU while a 140 mm fan in the 850 W Bronze PSU runs at low noise. The Corsair 4000D case provides tempered glass panels and internal airflow paths for the liquid loop. Under typical office loads the cooling solution remains quiet.

Sustained all-core clocks stay high without

The motherboard X870 PRIME power delivery supports the 9950X up to 5.70 GHz boost across 16 cores during long compute runs. 96 GB DDR5 and a 1 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe feed data continuously while the 10 TB HDD stores project archives. Thermal headroom allows extended render queues without frequency drops.

Questions about this item

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler installed on the AM5 socket, and what step is commonly missed?

The cooler mounts to the AM5 back-plate using the supplied brackets; the step often missed is removing the protective film from the cold-plate before securing the pump.

Which components will need replacement or maintenance during the system's life?

The 140 mm PSU fan and the liquid-cooler pump are the only moving parts that typically wear out; the 10 TB HDD may also require replacement after heavy write cycles.

What limit appears first when the Ryzen 9 9950X runs sustained workloads?

The 850 W Bronze PSU caps total system draw, so the CPU will hit its power limit before thermal throttling on the 360 mm cooler.
