Adamant Custom Ryzen 9 9950X Workstation

This Adamant Custom tower is a new 2026 gaming desktop PC built around a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor and Radeon PRO W7700 graphics. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, 32GB DDR5 memory, a 1TB NVMe SSD and a 10TB hard drive. Liquid cooling and an 850W power supply complete the configuration.

Suits engineering and CAD workflows.

The system targets SolidWorks, CAD, CAM and CAE modelling workloads that benefit from high single-thread frequency and professional GPU drivers. The single graphics card slot and 850W unit limit multi-GPU expansion. Buyers who need multiple GPUs or higher GPU memory for large datasets should consider other configurations.

16GB GPU memory decides professional fit

The Radeon PRO W7700 provides 16GB of dedicated video memory, which determines whether the workstation can hold large assemblies, textures or simulation meshes in frame buffer. If your typical models exceed this capacity, the card will become the bottleneck regardless of CPU or system RAM.

Questions about this item

Will the 850 W power supply and AM5 motherboard support a future GPU upgrade without changing the chassis?

The Thermaltake 850 W unit and Corsair 4000D case leave room for a larger card, and the X870 board provides a full-length PCIe slot, so a newer GPU can be installed later.

Can I keep my existing SATA SSDs and mechanical drives when moving to this system?

Yes — the X870 motherboard includes four SATA 6 Gb/s ports and the case has two 3.5-inch bays, so current SATA drives fit directly.

How do I verify the Radeon PRO W7700 is recognised and running at full 16 GB capacity after first boot?

Open Device Manager or AMD Software; the adapter should show as Radeon PRO W7700 with 16 GB dedicated video memory and driver version matching the latest AMD Pro release.
