Built for heavy creative workloads

This desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 16GB GPU. The system ships with 64GB DDR5 memory, a 1TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD and a 10TB hard drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed in a Corsair 4000D tempered-glass tower cooled by a 360mm liquid cooler.

Upgrading from a mid-range workstation

The jump is worth it when current render times stall projects or when VRAM limits crash AI training runs. Sixteen cores at up to 5.70 GHz and 16GB GPU memory remove those bottlenecks. The 1200W 80 PLUS Gold supply and four M.2 slots leave headroom for future storage or capture cards.

Suits editors, 3D artists and AI researchers

Professionals who need sustained multi-thread throughput and large local datasets will use every resource. Buyers who only game at 1080p or who need more than 192GB total memory should look at something else.

Questions about this item

How much clearance does the 360 mm liquid cooler need inside the Corsair 4000D case?

The 360 mm radiator fits in the top or front of the 4000D; the case interior is 490 mm deep, 239 mm wide and 486 mm high, so allow at least 360 mm length plus fan thickness for the chosen mount.

Which motherboard power connectors must be seated for the Ryzen 9 9950X and RTX 5080?

Connect the 24-pin ATX cable, the 8-pin EPS cable for the 16-core CPU, and the 12VHPWR or dual 8-pin PCIe cables from the 1200 W PSU to the graphics card before first boot.

How many 3.5-inch drives can be added later and what power cables are required?

Two internal 3.5-inch bays remain; each new drive needs a SATA data cable to one of the four motherboard SATA 6 Gb/s ports and a SATA power lead from the PSU.
