System identity

The Adamant Custom tower pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card, 96GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and a 360mm liquid cooler in a Corsair 4000D tempered-glass chassis.

Upgrade threshold

This build replaces a workstation that bottlenecks on CPU render threads, GPU VRAM or system memory capacity. The jump is worth it when projects exceed 64GB RAM, need 32GB VRAM for large models, or require 16 cores at up to 5.70 GHz for sustained compile and simulation workloads.

Capacity and headroom

The 96GB DDR5 kit fills four slots and leaves room to reach the 192GB motherboard limit. The 1TB NVMe drive delivers 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes for active projects, while two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch bays remain open for additional SATA storage.

Questions about this item

How much clearance does the 360 mm liquid cooler need inside the Corsair 4000D case?

The 360 mm AIO fits in the front or top of the 490 mm deep Corsair 4000D case; allow at least 360 mm of uninterrupted radiator length plus fan thickness.

Which power cables must be connected to the RTX 5090 during installation?

Attach the required 12VHPWR connector from the Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W PSU directly to the GPU; do not use adapters or daisy-chained cables.

How many DDR5 slots remain free for future memory upgrades?

The motherboard has four DDR5 slots total; with 96 GB installed, up to two slots are still open, supporting a maximum of 192 GB.
