16-Core Ryzen 9 9950X Workstation

This desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with an NVIDIA RTX A4000 graphics card. It includes 32GB of DDR5 memory, a 2TB NVMe SSD and a 10TB hard drive. The system is cooled by a 360mm liquid cooler and runs Windows 11 Pro. It targets engineers and designers running CAD, CAM or CAE workloads.

Ideal for certified professional apps.

The RTX A4000 is built for ISV-certified stability in SolidWorks and similar professional suites. Buyers who only play games will not use the driver optimisations or 16GB VRAM that justify the cost. Teams needing ECC memory or multiple GPUs should look at a different class of workstation.

RTX A4000 16GB VRAM decides fit

The card provides 16GB of video memory, which determines the maximum model and texture size that fits in GPU memory. If your assemblies or datasets exceed that limit, you will need a card with more VRAM. The 32GB system memory and 192GB maximum capacity handle the rest of the workload.

Questions about this item

What PCIe generation does the 2 TB Samsung 990 PRO SSD use and what peak speeds does it reach?

The drive runs on PCIe 4.0 x4 and delivers up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write.

What case dimensions and motherboard form factor must the build accommodate?

The Antec P20 mid-tower measures 469 x 220 x 490 mm and supports E-ATX boards such as the PRIME X870-P.

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler mounted and what common step is missed?
