Workstation for CAD modelling

This desktop pairs a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X with an Nvidia RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell GPU and 64GB of DDR5 memory. It is built for engineers and designers who run SolidWorks, CAM or CAE workloads and need certified driver stability. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and a liquid-cooled CPU for sustained clock speeds during long simulations.

Dual 4TB NVMe drives plus 10TB hard drive

Two Samsung 990 PRO SSDs deliver up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes for active project files, while the 10TB hard drive with 256MB cache holds archives and bulk data. The motherboard provides three M.2 connectors and four SATA ports, so additional drives can be added without sacrificing the existing array. Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5Gb Ethernet give flexible network options for collaborative workflows.

64GB DDR5 with room to 192GB

Four memory slots are populated with 64GB today and support a maximum of 192GB, allowing future expansion for larger assemblies or multi-physics studies. The 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply and 360mm liquid cooler keep the 16-core processor and 16GB GPU within thermal limits during extended renders. Buyers who need more than 192GB of RAM or a second high-end graphics card should look at a different platform.

Questions about this item

What maintenance will the 360 mm liquid cooler and the four 120 mm case fans need after long use?

The AIO cooler is a sealed unit that does not require refilling; dust the radiator and the three front plus rear fans periodically to keep airflow clear.

Which component hits its limit first when the 16-core CPU and RTX PRO 2000 GPU run flat out?

The 850 W Bronze PSU and the liquid-cooled CPU set the practical ceiling; sustained loads stay within the cooler and power budget.

How much noise and heat appear when the workstation runs all day?

The Antec P10 FLUX case uses sound-dampening panels and a 140 mm PSU fan rated for low noise, while the 360 mm AIO keeps CPU temperatures steady under continuous load.
