What this system is and who it suits

This desktop combines a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with an Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPU and 128GB of DDR5 memory. It is built for professionals running SolidWorks, CAD, CAM or CAE workloads that demand high single-thread speed and large GPU memory. The 1TB NVMe drive and 10TB hard drive give fast project access and deep archival space. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

What to verify before ordering

The motherboard uses the AM5 socket and provides four DDR5 slots, with 128GB already populated and a 192GB ceiling. Rear I/O includes two USB4 Type-C ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 and four USB 2.0 ports. Internal headers add a further USB Type-C, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 and four USB 2.0 connections. Network connectivity covers Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7. The 1000W 80 PLUS Gold power supply uses a 140mm fan and Japanese main capacitors.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

A 360mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU while the case fans and the power supply's 140mm fan move air through the Corsair 4000D chassis. The 1000W Gold unit delivers overhead for the 16-core CPU and 32GB GPU under sustained loads. Liquid cooling keeps the processor at lower temperatures than air alternatives, and the power supply's low-noise fan profile reduces acoustic output during long render or simulation sessions.

Questions about this item

Does the system ship with the 1TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive and 10TB HDD already installed, or do I need to add storage myself?

Both drives come pre-installed — the 1TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD and the 10TB HDD with 256MB cache are fitted inside the Corsair 4000D case, so no extra storage purchase is required.

The spec lists 128GB DDR5 across four slots with a 192GB maximum — should I choose this capacity or plan to upgrade later?

128GB DDR5 fills all four slots on the Gigabyte X870 AORUS motherboard, leaving no free slots; if you anticipate needing more than 128GB you would have to replace modules rather than add them.

What does the RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell's 32GB of GPU memory mean for real-world SolidWorks and rendering workloads?

The 32GB frame buffer lets you hold large assemblies, high-resolution textures and complex simulation data entirely on the card, reducing system-memory swapping and keeping viewport performance smooth during heavy CAD and rendering tasks.
