Workstation CPU and GPU

This desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with an Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell graphics card that carries 32GB of video memory. The combination targets professionals who run SolidWorks CAD, CAM and CAE modelling workloads on Windows 11 Pro. AI-ready hardware supports accelerated inference where software can use it.

Storage and memory configuration

A 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive delivers read speeds up to 7450 MB/sec and write speeds up to 6900 MB/sec for active project files. A 10TB hard drive with 256MB cache adds bulk capacity for archives and datasets. The 48GB DDR5 kit occupies two of four slots, leaving room to reach the 192GB maximum supported by the motherboard.

Chassis, cooling and connectivity

The Corsair 4000D mid-tower case uses a 360mm liquid cooler for the CPU and an 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply with Japanese main capacitors and a 140mm fan. Rear I/O includes two USB4 ports at 40Gbps, one USB 10Gbps port, three USB 5Gbps ports and four USB 2.0 ports alongside Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7. Internal bays provide two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch positions for further expansion.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler need coolant replacement or pump service later?

The sealed 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO arrives pre-filled and maintenance-free; no coolant top-ups or pump servicing are required during its service life.

What limits the Ryzen 9 9950X first when all 16 cores run flat-out for hours?

The 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU and motherboard VRM set the practical ceiling; the CPU will throttle to stay within the power the supply and board can deliver continuously.

How loud and hot does the system get when the RTX PRO 4500 and CPU run all day?

The 360 mm AIO and 140 mm PSU fan keep noise low at idle; under full load the GPU and CPU fans ramp up, raising audible output and case temperature noticeably.
