Built for professional modelling

This workstation pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with an Nvidia RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell GPU carrying 48GB of video memory. The combination targets engineers and designers running SolidWorks, CAD, CAM and CAE workloads that demand high core counts and large frame buffers. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and the system is marked AI Ready for accelerated inference tasks.

Liquid cooling keeps thermals in check

A 360mm quiet-edition AIO handles the CPU while the GPU relies on its own vapour-chamber design. The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W 80 PLUS Gold unit delivers stable power with a 140mm fan that spins slowly under typical loads. Front-panel dust filters on three sides reduce intake buildup, helping the 120mm intake fans maintain airflow without ramping speed.

Connectivity and storage ready for expansion

The PRIME X870-P motherboard exposes two USB4 40Gbps Type-C ports, a 10Gbps USB port, three 5Gbps ports and four USB 2.0 ports at the rear. Four M.2 slots and two SATA 6Gb/s headers allow additional NVMe or SATA drives beyond the 1TB Samsung 990 PRO and 10TB hard drive already fitted. Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 2x2 provide wired and wireless network options.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360 mm liquid cooler and what step is often missed?

Mount the 360 mm radiator to the case top or front using the included brackets, then attach the pump block to the AM5 socket with the supplied back-plate; the step most builders miss is removing the protective film from the cold-plate before tightening the thumbscrews.

Which components will need replacement first and when?

The 140 mm PSU fan and the three 120 mm front case fans are the only moving parts besides the pump; expect to replace any of them after several years of continuous operation when noise or bearing wear appears.

What thermal limit appears first during a long render on the 16-core CPU?

The 360 mm AIO can dissipate the Ryzen 9 9950X heat load, so the first limit reached is the processor’s own thermal throttle point, which reduces clock speeds once the 64 MB L3 cache and 16 cores hit their maximum junction temperature.
