Tower workstation for AI and rendering

This desktop combines a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor with 192GB DDR5 memory and an RTX 5090 graphics card. The liquid-cooled tower runs Windows 11 Pro and includes a 1TB NVMe SSD for fast project access. It is built for professionals who need local compute for modelling, video editing and AI workloads.

Suited to single-machine pipelines.

The configuration fits creators who run large language models, complex simulations or 8K timelines on one system. The 32GB GPU memory and 192GB system memory keep big datasets in VRAM and RAM without swapping. Buyers who need multiple accelerators or rackmount density should look at a different platform.

192 GB DDR5 maximum memory

The motherboard supports 192 GB across four slots and this build populates every slot. That ceiling decides whether your working set fits in physical memory or spills to storage. If your workloads demand more than 192 GB, this chassis cannot accommodate them.

Questions about this item

What are the case dimensions and drive bay layout for the Corsair 4000D chassis used in this build?

The Corsair 4000D measures 490 mm deep by 239 mm wide by 486 mm high. Inside it provides two 3.5-inch bays and two 2.5-inch bays for additional storage.

Which motherboard power connectors must be seated for the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and RTX 5090, and what is the common mistake?

The PRIME X870-P requires the 24-pin ATX plus an 8-pin EPS for the CPU; the RTX 5090 draws power through the 12VHPWR connector on the 1200W PSU. Builders often leave the EPS or 12VHPWR partially unlatched, causing a no-post condition.

When will the AIO liquid cooler and the 1200W power supply typically need replacement?

The 360 mm AIO quiet edition should be inspected after about five years for pump noise or coolant loss. The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W 80 PLUS Gold unit is rated for long service but plan to swap it around the seven-to-ten-year mark if fan noise rises or voltages drift.
