Workstation desktop with 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D

This Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor with 192GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia RTX A2000 graphics card. A 2TB NVMe SSD and a 10TB hard drive provide fast boot and bulk storage. Windows 11 Pro, liquid CPU cooling and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity complete the platform.

Suited to engineering simulation

The 16 cores, 32 threads and large memory capacity handle SolidWorks, CAM and CAE workloads that benefit from high core counts and ECC-capable DDR5. Buyers who need certified drivers for a broader range of ISV applications or who require multiple professional GPUs for GPU-accelerated rendering should evaluate alternative configurations.

192GB DDR5 headroom for large assemblies

The 192GB memory ceiling accommodates massive assemblies, multi-physics studies and concurrent virtual machines without paging to the 2TB NVMe drive. When datasets exceed this limit or when workloads demand more than the RTX A2000 12GB frame buffer, the system will rely on slower storage or require a hardware change.

Questions about this item

Does the X870 TUF motherboard need a separate AM5 CPU cooler bracket for the 360 mm AIO?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition liquid cooler is already mounted on the Ryzen 9 9950X3D, so no extra bracket is required.

Will the four USB4 ports and the 2.5 Gbps LAN share bandwidth with the RTX A2000 on the PCIe 4.0 lanes?

The X870 chipset provides the USB4 and 2.5 GbE connections independently, leaving the GPU on its own x16 link.

After first boot, how can I confirm the 192 GB DDR5 kit is running at the rated speed?

Open Task Manager or UEFI and verify the memory shows 192 GB at the configured DDR5 frequency.
