Workstation-class 16-core AMD desktop

The system pairs a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor with 192 GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia RTX A4000 graphics card. It targets engineers and creators who run CAD, CAM and simulation workloads alongside gaming. A 360 mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable during long renders.

Sustained compute with liquid cooling

The 360 mm quiet-edition AIO dissipates heat from the 16-core chip so clocks hold steady through extended compiles or multi-hour simulations. The 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze supply delivers continuous power without throttling. High-performance DDR5 and a Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive feed data fast enough to keep all 32 threads busy.

Tower chassis with front USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C

The tempered-glass tower measures 447 x 215 x 469 mm and mounts two 140 mm PWM intake fans for quiet airflow. Internal bays hold two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drives, accommodating the 10 TB hard drive and future expansion. Rear I/O includes two USB4 Type-C ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 and four USB 2.0 connectors plus Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 360 mm liquid cooler and 140 mm fans when the Ryzen 9 9950X3D runs at 5.70 GHz all day?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO and two front 140 mm PWM fans are designed for low-noise operation; the 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU also uses a 140 mm fan rated for quiet running.

Does the RTX A4000 16 GB need an extra power cable beyond what the 850 W PSU provides?

The Thermaltake Smart 850 W unit includes the necessary PCIe connectors for the RTX A4000, so no separate cable purchase is required.

Can I keep my older SATA SSDs and mechanical drives alongside the 1 TB NVMe and 10 TB HDD?

Yes — the X870 motherboard offers four SATA 6 Gb/s ports and the case has two 3.5 inch and two 2.5 inch bays for additional drives.
