Core specification

This Adamant Custom tower is a new gaming desktop built around a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor running at 4.3 GHz with up to 5.70 GHz boost and 128 MB L3 cache. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory across four slots, an 8 TB NVMe array made from two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 12 GB graphics card. A 360 mm liquid cooler, 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply and Windows 11 Pro complete the configuration.

Who this suits

The system suits creators and gamers who need high single-thread frequency, large cache and 12 GB of GPU memory in a single chassis. Buyers who want more than 32 GB of memory out of the box or who require multiple graphics cards should look elsewhere, as the motherboard provides four DIMM slots and a single PCIe x16 connection for the installed RTX 5070.

Deciding specification

The 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D with 128 MB L3 cache is the specification that determines whether this PC matches the workload; its combination of core count and cache capacity drives both gaming frame rates and multi-threaded throughput in a way no other component in the build can replace.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm AIO liquid cooler need its coolant topped up or the pump replaced during the system's life?

The 360 mm quiet-edition AIO is a sealed unit; no coolant top-ups are required and the pump is not a user-serviceable part.

What thermal limit will the Ryzen 9 9950X3D hit first when all 16 cores run at 5.70 GHz for hours?

The CPU's maximum boost clock is 5.70 GHz; sustained all-core loads will be limited by the 360 mm AIO's ability to dissipate the resulting heat.

How loud does the 140 mm PSU fan and the AIO radiator fans get when the RTX 5070 and CPU are both at full load all day?

The Thermaltake Smart 850 W PSU uses an ultra-quiet 140 mm fan and the 360 mm AIO is a quiet-edition cooler, so combined noise stays low under continuous load.
