16-Core Workstation Desktop

This Adamant Custom gaming desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor with 64GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The GeForce RTX 5070 GPU adds 12GB video memory for creative workloads and high-refresh gaming. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on a tower chassis built for expandability.

Liquid Cooling 360mm AIO

A 360mm Quiet Edition liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal load while front-mounted 140mm PWM fans move air through the case. The Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply uses Japanese main capacitors and a low-noise 140mm fan. Protection circuits cover over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit events.

1TB Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0x4

The primary drive delivers sequential reads up to 7450 MB/sec and writes up to 6900 MB/sec over a PCIe 4.0x4 interface. Four M.2 connectors on the TUF X870-PLUS motherboard allow additional NVMe storage. Internal bays provide two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch mounts for SATA expansion.

Questions about this item

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler installed on the AM5 socket, and what step do people get wrong?

Mount the AM5 bracket first, then seat the cold plate with even pressure; the step often missed is removing the protective film from the cold-plate base before tightening the thumbscrews.

Which component will need maintenance or replacement first in this build?

The 140 mm PWM case fans are the only moving-air parts outside the sealed AIO; expect to clean or replace them before the pump or the Thermaltake 850 W PSU fan.

What limit appears first during sustained heavy loads on this system?

The 850 W Bronze PSU power budget is reached before the 360 mm AIO or the RTX 5070 12 GB hit their thermal ceilings.
