Ryzen 9 9950X3D workstation

This system pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor with 128 GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. It is built for professionals who need high core counts and large GPU memory for modelling, video editing, rendering and AI workloads in a single tower.

8 TB Samsung 990 PRO storage array

Two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives provide 8 TB of NVMe capacity with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. The PRIME X870-P motherboard adds four M.2 slots, two SATA ports and rear USB4 40 Gbps ports so the fast storage can be expanded or backed up without bottlenecks.

128 GB DDR5 with 192 GB ceiling

The board runs 128 GB of DDR5 across four slots and supports up to 192 GB total, giving headroom for larger datasets or heavier multitasking. The 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold supply and 360 mm liquid cooler keep the CPU and RTX 5090 stable under sustained load, while the Corsair 4000D case reserves two 3.5" and two 2.5" bays for future drives.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler need the coolant topped up or the pump replaced?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is a sealed unit; it runs without coolant top-ups and the pump is not user-serviceable.

Which component hits its limit first during long rendering sessions?

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU caps sustained draw at 1200 W, so total system power is the first hard ceiling.

How loud and hot does the 360 mm AIO get when the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and RTX 5090 run all day?

The 140 mm low-noise fan on the 360 mm radiator keeps acoustic output low, while the liquid loop moves heat from the 16-core CPU and 32 GB GPU without thermal throttling.
