16-Core Ryzen 9 Workstation

The Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on a tower chassis cooled by a 360mm liquid cooler.

Upgrade From 8-Core Or Air-Cooled Builds

Moving from an 8-core CPU or an air-cooled chassis unlocks the 9950X3D's 128MB L3 cache and 5.70 GHz boost for sustained multi-thread workloads. The 1200W Gold power supply and liquid loop handle the thermal envelope that smaller coolers cannot. Builders staying with lighter single-thread tasks will not use the extra headroom.

32GB DDR5 And 1TB NVMe Headroom

The 32GB DDR5 kit occupies two of four slots, leaving room to reach the 192GB board limit for large datasets or virtualization. The 1TB PCIe 4.0 drive delivers 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes, fast enough for active project files. Users building a multi-terabyte media library will need additional SATA or M.2 storage.

Questions about this item

What case clearance does the 360 mm liquid cooler require?

The tower case measures 447 mm deep, 215 mm wide and 469 mm high with front 140 mm fans, so a 360 mm radiator fits in the front or top mounting points.

How is the CPU cooler installed on the AM5 socket, and what step is often missed?

Mount the supplied AM5 brackets to the motherboard back-plate, apply thermal paste, seat the cold-plate, then connect the pump header and the 3-pin ARGB cable — the ARGB link is the step most builders forget.

Which components can be upgraded later and what limits apply?

Four DDR5 slots support up to 192 GB total; four M.2 connectors and two 2.5-inch plus two 3.5-inch bays allow extra NVMe or SATA storage; the 1200 W PSU has headroom for a future GPU.
