16-Core Ryzen 9 9950X3D Workstation

This tower system combines a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. It ships with 64 GB of DDR5 memory and an 8 TB NVMe SSD array built from two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the 2026 platform.

Suited for modelling, rendering and AI workloads

The liquid-cooled CPU and 1200 W Gold-rated power supply support sustained heavy compute tasks. Builders who need more than 64 GB of memory or additional drive bays should look elsewhere. The configuration targets professionals who prioritise single-thread frequency and large GPU memory.

32 GB RTX 5090 graphics memory

The GPU provides 32 GB of video memory, which determines whether full scenes and large datasets stay resident during rendering or inference. If your workflow demands more GPU memory, this card will not meet the requirement. The 8 TB of NVMe storage feeds data to the processor at up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write.

Questions about this item

What case dimensions and motherboard form factor does the Corsair 4000D chassis support?

The Corsair 4000D measures 490 mm deep, 239 mm wide and 486 mm high and fits the ATX PRIME X870-P motherboard used in this build.

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler mounted, and what step is often missed?

The 360 mm radiator attaches to the top of the case with three 140 mm fans; the step many miss is connecting the pump header and any RGB cable to the motherboard before closing the panel.

Which storage slots remain free for future SSD upgrades?

The PRIME X870-P provides four M.2 connectors; two are occupied by the 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives, leaving two M.2 slots and two SATA ports available for additional NVMe or SATA SSDs.
