Adamant Custom Ryzen 9 9950X3D Workstation

This tower desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor with an NVIDIA RTX A4000 graphics card. It ships with 64GB of DDR5 memory, an 8TB NVMe SSD array and a 10TB hard drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and a 360mm liquid cooler handles CPU thermals.

Suited to engineering simulation

The 16 cores and 32 threads plus 16GB GPU memory fit SolidWorks, CAM and CAE pipelines that demand sustained compute and certified drivers. Buyers who only need gaming performance or who require more than 192GB of system memory should look at a different configuration.

16GB RTX A4000 GPU memory decides fit

Professional viewports and GPU-accelerated solvers scale directly with that 16GB frame buffer; if your datasets exceed it you will hit swapping or need a card with larger VRAM.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 8 TB NVMe plus 10 TB HDD or a single larger NVMe drive?

The build ships with two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0x4 NVMe SSDs (read up to 7450 MB/s, write up to 6900 MB/s) plus a 10 TB 256 MB cache HDD, giving both fast OS/app space and bulk capacity.

What does the Ryzen 9 9950X3D’s 5.70 GHz boost mean for daily work?

The 16-core, 32-thread CPU reaches 5.70 GHz max boost with 128 MB L3 cache, so heavy rendering, simulation and multitasking stay responsive under the 360 mm liquid cooler.

How fast are the rear USB4 ports and what do they limit?

Two USB4 Type-C ports run at 40 Gbps, capping external SSD or dock throughput at that ceiling while the board also supplies 10 Gbps and 5 Gbps USB-A ports.
