A 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K desktop with 192GB DDR5, 2TB NVMe SSD, 10TB HDD and an Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell 96GB GPU for SolidWorks CAD, CAM and CAE modelling
This workstation ships with a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K, 192 GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPU with 96 GB of video memory. The combination targets engineers who run large assemblies, multi-physics studies or GPU-accelerated rendering in SolidWorks, CAM and CAE packages. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and the system is assembled and tested before dispatch.
The 2 TB Samsung 990 PRO connects through a PCIe 4.0 x4 link, so its quoted sequential read of 7450 MB/s and write of 6900 MB/s represent the interface ceiling. The Z790 chipset provides four M.2 slots in total, but only the CPU-attached slot reaches full PCIe 4.0 x4 bandwidth; additional drives may share chipset lanes. The 10 TB hard drive uses a SATA 6 Gb/s port, limiting its sustained throughput to that bus.
The Corsair 4000D chassis measures 490 mm deep by 239 mm wide by 486 mm high and includes a 360 mm liquid-cooler radiator mounted internally. The 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply leaves headroom, yet any second full-length GPU must fit the remaining length and height after the radiator and the existing RTX PRO 6000 are installed. The motherboard offers four M.2 slots and four SATA ports, so additional storage is limited to those connectors.

Use the 2 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive for active projects; its PCIe 4.0 x4 interface delivers up to 7 450 MB/s reads and 6 900 MB/s writes, while the 10 TB HDD with 256 MB cache is better suited for archival storage.
The 24 cores and 32 threads handle parallel rebuild tasks, and the 6.00 GHz maximum turbo frequency accelerates single-threaded operations such as feature regeneration in large assemblies.
The GPU connects via PCIe 4.0 x4, providing sufficient bandwidth for the 96 GB VRAM during GPU-accelerated rendering and simulation workloads without saturating the bus.
