24-Core Threadripper Workstation

This business desktop pairs a 24-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X with 128GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia Geforce RTX 5090 32GB GPU. It is built for professionals who need high multi-threaded throughput and large GPU memory in a single tower. Buyers who require more than 128GB of system memory or multiple GPU configurations will need a different platform.

Sustained Multi-Core and GPU Load

The CPU operates at a 4.2GHz base clock with up to 5.3GHz boost across 48 threads, cooled by a 360mm liquid cooler. The 1600W 80+ Titanium power supply delivers stable current for prolonged render or compute sessions. Storage combines a 1TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive rated for 7450 MB/s reads with a 10TB SATA HDD for capacity.

Thermals, Noise and Power Draw

Liquid cooling on the CPU and a 140mm fan in the Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 PSU keep acoustic output low during typical workloads. The Corsair 5000D FRAME case includes front and rear 120mm fans to maintain airflow through the 520mm deep chassis. The 80+ Titanium rating indicates high efficiency at normal operating loads.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 360 mm liquid cooler and 140 mm PSU fan when the Threadripper 9960X runs at 5.3 GHz all day?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO and Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 140 mm fan are both specified as ultra-quiet, keeping noise low even under sustained 24-core load.

Which display cables must I already own to use the RTX 5090 32 GB?

The RTX 5090 uses standard DisplayPort and HDMI outputs; you need matching cables for your monitor — none are included in the box.

Will my existing SATA 6 Gb/s hard drives and USB 3.2 Gen 2 peripherals work with the TRX50 AERO D motherboard?

Yes — the board provides eight SATA 6 Gb/s ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A rear ports and one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C mid-board header for direct compatibility.
