Liquid-cooled Threadripper workstation

This Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 24-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X at 4.2GHz with 128GB DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 32GB GPU. A 1600W 80+ Titanium PSU powers the 360mm AIO cooler and dual 4TB NVMe SSDs in RAID alongside a 10TB SATA hard drive. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit ships pre-installed.

Suits AI developers and render farms

Professionals running large-language-model inference, 8K video timelines or multi-GPU compute jobs gain 24 cores, 48 threads and 32GB VRAM in a quiet tower. Buyers who need more than two NVMe slots or a second full-size GPU should look elsewhere. The single RTX 5090 and TRX50 platform limit multi-GPU expansion.

128GB DDR5 ECC capacity decides fit

The 128GB DDR5 ECC kit across eight DIMM slots is the spec that locks compatibility — workloads needing 256GB or non-ECC modules cannot use this configuration. All other components scale around that memory ceiling.

Questions about this item

Will the sTR5 socket motherboard and 1600W power supply work with my existing TRX50 AERO D components?

The GIGABYTE TRX50 AERO D motherboard uses the sTR5 socket and the Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 provides 1600W 80+ Titanium power, so it matches the platform and power requirements of your current TRX50 parts.

How can I verify the Threadripper 9960X is boosting to 5.3GHz and the RTX 5090 is detected with 32GB VRAM after assembly?

Check the BIOS for the 5.3GHz max boost clock and 128MB L3 cache on the CPU, then open Windows Task Manager or GPU-Z to confirm the RTX 5090 shows 32GB video memory and the 24-core 48-thread processor is recognised.

What storage drives and cooling are included, and what must I add for extra M.2 or 3.5-inch bays?

The system ships with two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSDs, a 10TB SATA HDD, and a 360mm liquid CPU cooler; the case has four 2.5-inch and two 3.5-inch internal bays plus four M.2 slots on the motherboard for any additional drives you install yourself.
