Built for Professional Workloads

This business desktop combines a 24-core AMD Threadripper 9960X processor with 128GB DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia Geforce RTX 5080 16GB graphics card. It targets engineers, researchers and content creators who need reliable multi-threaded compute and GPU acceleration in a single tower running Windows 11 Pro.

Storage and Connectivity Benefits

Two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write speeds for active projects, while a 10TB SATA hard drive with 256MB cache provides bulk capacity. The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard adds rear USB4 Type-C, 10GbE LAN and eight SATA ports for peripheral expansion.

Verify Power and Space Requirements

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W 80 PLUS Gold supply uses a 140mm fan and Japanese main capacitors, so confirm your mains circuit can handle the draw. The Corsair 5000D FRAME case measures 520 x 245 x 520 mm and includes a 360mm liquid cooler; ensure your desk or rack allocation accommodates these dimensions.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler need coolant refills or pump replacement?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is a sealed unit; no coolant refills are required and the pump is not user-serviceable.

What limits the Threadripper 9960X during sustained all-core workloads?

The 24-core CPU will hit its thermal and power limits first, with boost clocks dropping from 5.3 GHz toward the 4.2 GHz base under continuous load.

How loud and hot does the system get when the RTX 5080 and Threadripper run all day?

The 1200 W Gold PSU and 360 mm liquid cooler keep noise low, but case fans will ramp up as the GPU and 24-core CPU dump heat into the chassis.
