Threadripper 9960X workstation

This 24-core desktop pairs a 4.2 GHz Threadripper 9960X with 64 GB DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPU carrying 32 GB VRAM. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit ships pre-installed. The liquid-cooled tower targets professionals who need high core counts and large GPU memory for simulation, rendering or AI workloads.

TRX50 platform connectivity

A Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard supplies rear USB4 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and Gen 1 ports plus 10 GbE LAN. Mid-board headers add USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 2.0, eight SATA 6 Gb/s and four M.2 slots. The 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU powers the CPU, GPU and storage without extra cables. The Corsair 5000D Frame case holds two 3.5" and four 2.5" internal bays for further expansion.

8 TB NVMe plus 10 TB HDD

Two Samsung 990 PRO 4 TB drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write over PCIe 4.0 x4. A 10 TB SATA drive with 256 MB cache adds bulk capacity for archives. The 64 GB DDR5 ECC kit and 32 GB GPU frame buffer handle large datasets, while the 24-core CPU tops out at 5.3 GHz boost. Buyers who need more than 64 GB system memory or multiple GPUs must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How long can the 24-core Threadripper 9960X sustain 4.2 GHz before the 360 mm liquid cooler hits its thermal limit?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is designed to handle the Threadripper 9960X at its 4.2 GHz base clock continuously; sustained all-core loads up to 5.3 GHz boost are managed within the cooler's rated capacity.

What noise level and heat output should I expect from the 1200 W PSU and 360 mm AIO during 24/7 operation?

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold unit uses a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan, and the 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO runs low-noise pumps and fans, keeping acoustics and case temperatures low under constant load.

Which display cables and monitor inputs are required to use the RTX PRO 4500 32 GB GPU?

The RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell 32 GB card provides standard DisplayPort and USB Type-C video outputs; connect a compatible monitor with DisplayPort or USB-C Alt Mode input using the appropriate cable.
