24-Core Threadripper Workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 24-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X processor with 256GB DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX A400 graphics card. It is built for professionals who need certified stability for rendering, simulation or multi-threaded compute workloads. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit pre-installed.

PCIe 4.0x4 NVMe and SATA 6Gb/s limits

The 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drive reaches sequential reads up to 7450 MB/sec and writes up to 6900 MB/sec on the PCIe 4.0x4 interface. The 10TB hard drive connects through SATA 6Gb/s, capping its sustained throughput well below the NVMe ceiling. Four M.2 connectors on the motherboard allow future expansion within the same bandwidth envelope.

256GB ECC memory and 14TB total storage

The 256GB DDR5 ECC configuration provides ample headroom for large datasets, virtual machines and GPU-accelerated applications without paging. Combined NVMe and hard-drive capacity reaches 14TB, sufficient for active project files and local archives. Workloads that exceed 256GB RAM or require faster bulk storage than SATA 6Gb/s will need additional hardware.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 256GB DDR5 configuration or add more memory later?

The system ships with 256GB DDR5 ECC across eight slots on the TRX50 AERO D board; the CPU supports up to 1TB, so you can expand later if workloads demand it.

What does the 4.2GHz base clock on the Threadripper 9960X mean for daily rendering?

The 24-core processor runs at 4.2GHz base and can boost to 5.3GHz, giving strong single-thread responsiveness while all 48 threads tackle heavy multi-threaded renders.

How fast is the Samsung 990 PRO over the PCIe 4.0 x4 link?

The 4TB NVMe drive delivers sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s on the motherboard's PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slot.
