24-Core Threadripper Workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 24-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X running at 4.2 GHz with 256 GB of DDR5 ECC memory. A 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold supply and a 360 mm quiet-edition AIO keep the system stable under sustained professional workloads. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit ships pre-installed.

Ideal For Multi-Threaded Production

The 24 cores and 48 threads suit rendering, simulation and large-dataset analysis that scale across many threads. Buyers who need more than 256 GB of memory or multiple GPU compute cards should look at a platform with additional DIMM slots and PCIe lanes. The single RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell 24 GB card limits multi-GPU acceleration.

8 TB NVMe Plus 10 TB HDD Headroom

Two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes for active project files. The 10 TB SATA hard drive with 256 MB cache provides deep archival capacity. Workloads exceeding 8 TB of high-speed scratch space or requiring more than 24 GB of VRAM will hit the storage or GPU ceiling.

Questions about this item

Does my motherboard need an sTR5 socket and DDR5 slots to use the 24-core Threadripper 9960X and 256GB RAM?

Yes. The CPU fits only an sTR5 socket and the 256GB kit is DDR5 ECC, so the board must support both.

Will the 10TB SATA 6Gb/s HDD and the two 4TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs work together on the TRX50 AERO D motherboard?

Yes. The board provides four M.2 connectors for the NVMe drives and eight SATA 6Gb/s ports for the HDD, all usable simultaneously.

How can I verify the liquid cooler is keeping the 9960X near its 4.2GHz base clock under load?

Monitor CPU temperature and core frequencies in Windows Task Manager or HWMonitor while running a sustained workload; the 360mm AIO should keep thermals in check.
