24-Core Threadripper Workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 24-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X with 256GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It runs Windows 11 Pro and targets professionals who need high multi-threaded throughput and GPU acceleration in a single desktop chassis.

256GB DDR5 ECC Memory

The system ships with 256GB of DDR5 ECC RAM, the capacity that determines whether large datasets and virtual machines fit in physical memory. Buyers who need more than 256GB of addressable memory cannot expand beyond this factory configuration.

360mm Liquid Cooling and 1200W Power

A 360mm quiet-edition AIO cooler handles the Threadripper thermal load while a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold supply feeds the CPU, RTX 5080 and ten drive bays. Front and rear 120mm case fans provide chassis airflow at low noise levels during sustained workloads.

Questions about this item

What does the 24-core Threadripper 9960X at 4.2 GHz deliver in a real workstation?

The 24-core Threadripper 9960X runs at a 4.2 GHz base clock and can boost up to 5.3 GHz, providing 48 threads for heavy multi-threaded workloads such as rendering, simulation and large-scale compilation.

What interface do the two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives use and what speed does it cap at?

The drives connect via PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots on the GIGABYTE TRX50 AERO D motherboard, limiting sequential reads to 7450 MB/s and writes to 6900 MB/s.

What physical space and mounting does the 360 mm liquid cooler need inside the Corsair 5000D Frame?

The 360 mm AIO radiator mounts in the case roof or front using three 120 mm fan positions, and the case dimensions of 520 x 245 x 520 mm provide enough clearance for the radiator and tubing.
