24-core Threadripper 9960X workstation with 512GB DDR5 ECC, 4TB NVMe SSD, 10TB HDD and RTX 4000 24GB GPU, liquid cooled in a Corsair 5000D frame
This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 24-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X processor with 512GB of DDR5 ECC memory for multi-threaded workloads. The sTR5 platform supports 48 threads at up to 5.3 GHz with 128MB L3 cache. It targets professionals who need sustained CPU performance for rendering, simulation or large-scale data processing. Buyers who require more than 24 cores or a different socket platform should look elsewhere.
A 360mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles CPU thermals while a Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W 80 PLUS Gold unit supplies power with Japanese main capacitors. The PSU includes a 140mm low-noise fan and over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. Case airflow uses a front 120mm and rear 120mm fan in a Corsair 5000D Frame chassis. Systems needing redundant power supplies or passive cooling are not addressed by this configuration.
Primary storage is a 4TB NVMe Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0x4 drive rated for 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write. Bulk capacity comes from a 10TB SATA 6Gb/s hard drive with 256MB cache. The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard provides four M.2 connectors and eight SATA 6Gb/s ports for expansion. Users who need hardware RAID controllers or U.2 NVMe bays will not find them included.

Mount the supplied sTR5 bracket, apply paste, then attach the cold plate; the step most often missed is tightening the four captive screws in a cross pattern to the specified torque so the 24-core CPU makes even contact.
The sealed AIO requires no coolant service; only clean the radiator fins and verify the 140 mm fan spins freely. For the 10 TB drive, run SMART checks periodically and keep backups current.
The 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU and 360 mm radiator are rated for the 24-core Threadripper's peak heat; the first ceiling is the CPU's own thermal throttle point, not the cooler or power delivery.
