Core Configuration

This business desktop combines a 24-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X processor with 512 GB of DDR5 ECC memory and a liquid cooling system. The tower chassis houses an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card with 32 GB of video memory and a 1600 W power supply. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit comes pre-installed.

Intended Use

The workstation suits professionals who need high core counts, large ECC memory capacity and a premium GPU for rendering, simulation or AI-ready tasks. Buyers who require multiple GPU slots, additional drive bays beyond those listed or a smaller form factor should look at other configurations.

Deciding Specification

The single specification that determines fit is the 512 GB DDR5 ECC memory capacity paired with the 24-core Threadripper 9960X CPU. This combination fixes the maximum memory ceiling and processor performance tier for the platform.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 360 mm liquid cooler and 140 mm PSU fan when the Threadripper 9960X runs at 5.3 GHz all day?

The 360 mm quiet-edition AIO and Seasonic 1600W Titanium PSU use low-noise 140 mm and 120 mm fans; under sustained load the system remains at a low acoustic level suitable for office environments.

Which display connectors must my monitor provide for the RTX 5090 32 GB?

The RTX 5090 32 GB uses standard DisplayPort and HDMI outputs; any monitor with those inputs will work without adapters.

Can the TRX50 motherboard still use my existing SATA SSDs and 3.5 inch hard drives?

Yes — the board provides eight SATA 6 Gb/s ports and the Corsair 5000D Frame case includes two 3.5 inch and four 2.5 inch internal bays for legacy drives.
