Liquid-cooled 24-core Threadripper workstation with 128GB DDR5 ECC, 2TB NVMe, 10TB HDD and RTX 5080 16GB for AI-ready professional workloads
This business desktop pairs a 24-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X processor with 128GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. The platform targets professionals who need high core counts for rendering, simulation or data analysis and GPU acceleration for AI-assisted workflows. It ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit pre-installed and is marked AI Ready by the supplier.
A 360mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU while the case includes front and rear 120mm fans for chassis airflow. The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W 80 PLUS Gold unit uses Japanese main capacitors and a 140mm low-noise fan, with over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. Power delivery is rated for the full system load under normal operation.
The Samsung 990 PRO 2TB NVMe drive provides sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s over PCIe 4.0x4, while a 10TB SATA hard drive adds 256MB cache for bulk capacity. Rear I/O includes two USB4 Type-C ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 and a Marvell AQtion 10GbE LAN port supporting 10, 5, 2.5 and 1 Gbps speeds. Front-panel audio uses a Realtek ALC897 codec and rear audio uses an ALC4080 codec for 7.1-channel output.

Mount the cold-plate using the four captive screws in a diagonal pattern until they bottom out, then connect the pump header and both fan headers to the TRX50 AERO D board so the 1200 W PSU can power the loop correctly.
The DDR5 ECC modules are sealed and require no service; the 10 TB SATA drive with 256 MB cache may need replacement after its rated workload limit, at which point a fresh SATA drive can be fitted into one of the two internal 3.5″ bays.
The GPU will hit its power-temperature ceiling and begin clock throttling before the 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU reaches its output limit, so sustained performance settles at the card's thermal set-point.
