Custom Threadripper Workstation

This Adamant Custom business desktop pairs a 24-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X processor with 256GB DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB graphics card. A 360mm liquid cooler and 1200W 80 Plus Gold power supply support sustained workloads in a Corsair 5000D Frame tower running Windows 11 Pro.

Upgrade From Older Threadripper Platforms

The sTR5 motherboard delivers USB4 and 10GbE LAN alongside four M.2 slots and eight SATA ports for high-speed storage expansion. Builders moving from earlier Threadripper generations gain PCIe 4.0 NVMe performance up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write from the Samsung 990 PRO SSD, plus 10TB HDD capacity.

Suits AI Development And Rendering Pipelines

Professionals running memory-intensive simulations, large-language-model fine-tuning or multi-GPU compute clusters will use the 256GB ECC DDR5 and 24 cores at up to 5.3 GHz. Buyers who need certified ISV drivers or dual-slot workstation GPUs should evaluate dedicated workstation lines instead.

Questions about this item

What case dimensions and drive bays does the Corsair 5000D frame provide for this workstation?

The case measures 520 mm deep, 245 mm wide and 520 mm high, with two internal 3.5-inch bays and four 2.5-inch bays.

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler mounted, and what step is often missed?

The 360 mm AIO radiator fits in the front or top of the Corsair 5000D; the step people miss is orienting the tubes at the bottom of the radiator to prevent air bubbles in the pump.

Which storage drives will need replacement first, and what are their interfaces?

The 10 TB SATA hard drive will likely need replacement before the 4 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, as mechanical drives wear out sooner than solid-state storage.
