32-Core Threadripper Workstation

This liquid-cooled business desktop is built around a 32-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9970X processor running at 4.0 GHz with 128GB of DDR5 ECC memory. It pairs an Nvidia RTX 4500 Blackwell GPU with 32GB VRAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD and a 10TB SATA hard drive. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit and a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold power supply complete the platform.

Professional Compute Buyers vs Entry Needs

Studios running multi-threaded rendering, large-scale simulation or AI model training will use the 64 threads and ECC memory daily. Buyers who need only mainstream office performance or light content creation will not utilise the core count, memory bandwidth or professional driver stack this system provides.

128GB DDR5 ECC Memory Capacity

The 128GB DDR5 ECC configuration across eight slots defines the maximum dataset size that stays in RAM without paging. Projects that exceed this limit will swap to the NVMe drive and lose the latency advantage that justifies the workstation class.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 360 mm liquid cooler need inside the 520 mm deep case?

The 360 mm radiator mounts in the Corsair 5000D FRAME, which is 520 mm deep and 520 mm tall, leaving room for the 120 mm front and rear fans.

Which motherboard power connectors must be seated for the Threadripper 9970X on the TRX50 AERO D?

The sTR5 CPU requires both 8-pin EPS cables from the 1200 W PSU; missing the second connector is the most common cause of a no-post condition.

When should the 120 mm front and rear case fans be cleaned or replaced?

Dust the 120 mm intake and exhaust fans every 6–12 months; replace them if bearing noise appears or airflow drops noticeably.
