Workstation for compute-heavy workloads

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 32-core Threadripper 9970X with 128GB DDR5 ECC memory and an RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell 96GB GPU. It targets professionals running simulation, rendering or large-model AI tasks that need sustained multi-core throughput and high VRAM capacity. Buyers who only need general office productivity or single-threaded applications will not use the available resources.

GPU memory capacity decides fit

The RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell provides 96GB of VRAM, the single specification that determines whether this system can hold your working dataset or model in graphics memory. If your workload fits in less VRAM, a smaller GPU would cost less; if it exceeds 96GB, you need multi-GPU scaling or CPU offload instead.

Straightforward deployment with one cable check

The workstation arrives assembled with Windows 11 Pro installed and a 360mm AIO cooler mounted on the sTR5 socket. The only common issue is forgetting to connect both 12VHPWR cables to the 1600W Seasonic PSU before first boot, which prevents the GPU from initialising.

Questions about this item

How does the 32-core Threadripper 9970X perform inside this liquid-cooled tower?

The 32-core Threadripper 9970X runs at a 4.0 GHz base clock and can boost up to 5.4 GHz, backed by a 360 mm AIO liquid cooler that keeps thermals in check during sustained workloads.

What bandwidth does the PCIe 4.0 x4 link give the Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD?

The M.2 slot is wired for PCIe 4.0 x4, so the Samsung 990 PRO delivers up to 7,450 MB/s reads and 6,900 MB/s writes in this system.

Will the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell 96 GB fit in the Corsair 5000D Frame case?

Yes — the Corsair 5000D Frame measures 520 mm deep, 245 mm wide and 520 mm high, providing ample clearance for the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell graphics card.
