Threadripper 9970X 32-Core Workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 32-core AMD Threadripper 9970X CPU with 64GB DDR5 ECC memory and a 96GB Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPU. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and combines 8TB of NVMe SSD storage with a 10TB SATA hard drive for large project datasets.

Suited for GPU-accelerated compute

The 96GB GPU frame buffer and 32 CPU cores handle deep-learning training, complex simulation and high-resolution content creation. Buyers who need more than 64GB system memory or require multiple GPU cards for scale-out clusters should look at a different configuration.

96GB GPU memory on RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell

The single specification that decides fit is the graphics card's 96GB memory capacity. It determines whether models, textures or simulation data reside entirely on the accelerator or must spill to system RAM, directly affecting throughput for the target workloads.

Questions about this item

What PCIe generation do the Samsung 990 PRO M.2 SSDs use, and what does that limit real-world throughput to?

They run at PCIe 4.0 x4, so sequential reads top out around 7450 MB/s and writes around 6900 MB/s.

What case dimensions and drive bays must the chassis accommodate for this build?

The Corsair 5000D FRAME measures 520 x 245 x 520 mm and provides two 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch internal bays.

How is the CPU cooler mounted, and which step do builders often miss?

The 360 mm AIO attaches to the sTR5 socket via the motherboard's threaded standoffs; the common mistake is forgetting to remove the protective film from the cold-plate before seating it.
