32-core Threadripper workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 32-core AMD Threadripper 9970X processor with 64GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX 5060 graphics card. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and targets professionals who need multi-threaded compute power plus GPU acceleration in a single desktop chassis.

360 mm AIO and TRX50 connectivity

A 360 mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU while the Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard provides rear USB4 Type-C ports, multiple USB 3.2 Gen 2 and Gen 1 ports, eight SATA 6Gb/s connectors and four M.2 slots. The Corsair 5000D Frame case adds front-panel USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Type-C and audio, plus internal bays for two 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch drives.

PCIe 4.0 storage ceiling and 10 GbE LAN

The two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO SSDs operate at PCIe 4.0 x4 with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s, while the 10 TB hard drive uses a SATA 6Gb/s interface. Network connectivity tops out at 10 Gbps via the Marvell AQtion AQC113C controller, so throughput beyond that requires additional hardware.

Questions about this item

What PCIe generation do the 2×4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives use, and what sequential speeds does that cap at?

They run on PCIe 4.0×4, limiting sequential reads to 7450 MB/s and writes to 6900 MB/s.

What case dimensions and drive bays must the build fit into?

The Corsair 5000D FRAME measures 520×245×520 mm and provides two 3.5″ and four 2.5″ internal bays.

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler mounted, and what step is often missed?

The radiator screws to the case fan mounts with the included 120 mm fans; the step people forget is plugging the pump header into the motherboard CPU_OPT or AIO_PUMP connector so the pump runs at full speed.
