32-Core Threadripper Workstation

This business desktop pairs a 32-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9970X processor with 64GB of DDR5 ECC memory and a 1200W power supply in a liquid-cooled tower. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and includes an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 12GB graphics card for GPU-accelerated workloads.

Suited for heavy multi-threaded compute.

Engineers, developers and content creators who need 32 cores, 64 threads and ECC memory for simulation, rendering or virtualization will benefit from this configuration. Buyers who only run single-threaded applications or need a compact, silent chassis should look elsewhere.

8TB NVMe plus 10TB HDD with 128MB L3 cache headroom

The two 4TB NVMe drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes for active project data, while the 10TB SATA drive provides bulk capacity. Workloads exceeding 64GB RAM or requiring more than 12GB VRAM will hit limits.

Questions about this item

What motherboard socket is required for the Threadripper 9970X CPU?

The system uses a Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard with an sTR5 socket that matches the Threadripper 9970X.

Can the existing 10 TB SATA hard drive remain installed when adding more storage?

Yes, the motherboard provides eight SATA 6Gb/s ports and the case has two 3.5-inch bays, so the 10 TB drive can stay alongside new drives.

How can I confirm the liquid cooler is running after assembly?

The 360 mm AIO cooler uses a 140 mm fan; listen for its low-noise spin and verify CPU temperatures stay near the 4.0 GHz base clock under load.
