32-Core Threadripper Workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 32-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9970X with 64GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GPU. It targets professionals who need sustained multi-threaded throughput and GPU acceleration in a single Windows 11 Pro system.

4TB NVMe plus 10TB HDD capacity

The Samsung 990 PRO 4TB drive delivers up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write over PCIe 4.0x4 for active projects. The 10TB SATA HDD with 256MB cache adds deep bulk storage, though its 6Gb/s interface limits sustained transfer rates compared with the NVMe array.

PCIe 4.0x4 and SATA 6Gb/s interfaces

The primary SSD saturates the four-lane PCIe 4.0 link, leaving no headroom for faster future drives on that slot. The hard drive operates at the SATA 6Gb/s ceiling, and the 10GbE LAN port tops out at 10 Gbps, so neither path can exceed those bandwidth limits.

Questions about this item

Will the sTR5 socket motherboard recognise my existing Threadripper 9970X cooler mounting hardware?

The workstation uses a 360 mm AIO liquid cooler designed for the sTR5 socket, so any cooler with the same mounting pattern will fit.

How can I confirm the Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD is running at its advertised PCIe 4.0 speeds after installation?

Run a sequential read benchmark; the drive should reach up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write when the M.2 slot operates in PCIe 4.0 x4 mode.

Which cables and accessories are included with the Corsair 5000D FRAME case and Thermaltake 1200W PSU?

The case ships with front-panel USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Type-C and audio cables; the PSU includes all modular power cables for the motherboard, GPU and drives.
