Liquid-Cooled Threadripper Workstation

This 64-core desktop pairs a Threadripper 9980X processor with 256GB DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX 2000 Blackwell 16GB GPU. A 360mm AIO cooler and 1200W 80 PLUS Gold power supply support sustained workloads inside a Corsair 5000D Frame case. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

Suited for multi-threaded simulation and rendering

The 64 cores and 128 threads excel at parallel compute tasks while ECC memory protects data integrity. Buyers who need more than one GPU or additional 10GbE ports should consider other configurations. The single RTX 2000 card limits multi-GPU scaling for large AI training clusters.

256GB DDR5 ECC memory capacity

Eight channels of registered DDR5 ECC deliver the bandwidth and error correction required for large in-memory datasets. Systems limited to non-ECC or lower capacities cannot match this reliability for mission-critical workloads.

Questions about this item

Will the 64-core Threadripper 9980X fit in my existing sTR5 motherboard if I keep the 360 mm liquid cooler?

The CPU uses the sTR5 socket and ships with a 360 mm Quiet Edition liquid cooler, so it will mount on any sTR5 board that has clearance for a 360 mm radiator.

How can I verify the two 4 TB NVMe drives are running at PCIe 4.0 x4 after setup?

Check the BIOS or OS device manager for each Samsung 990 PRO showing a PCIe 4.0 x4 link and run a sequential read test; the drives are rated up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write.

What accessories are included and what must I supply myself?

The box contains the Corsair 5000D case, Threadripper 9980X, 256 GB DDR5 ECC RAM, two 4 TB NVMe SSDs, 10 TB SATA HDD, RTX 2000 16 GB GPU, 1200 W PSU, 360 mm AIO cooler, Windows 11 Pro and all cables; you only need a display, keyboard and mouse.
