Workstation Purpose

The Adamant Custom tower is a liquid-cooled business desktop built around a 64-core Threadripper 9980X processor and an RTX 5080 graphics card. It targets professionals who need heavy multi-threaded compute and GPU acceleration in a single Windows 11 Pro system.

Compatibility Checks

Verify that your workspace can accommodate a 520 mm deep tower and that the 1600W power supply matches your local mains voltage. Confirm the sTR5 motherboard provides the USB4, USB 3.2 and 10GbE connectivity your peripherals require before ordering.

Build Integration

The 360 mm liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal load while the Seasonic 1600W unit delivers stable power to both the 64-core processor and the 16GB GPU. Two 4TB NVMe drives supply fast primary storage and a 10TB SATA drive adds bulk capacity, freeing PCIe lanes for other expansion cards.

Questions about this item

What comes inside the Corsair 5000D case and what must I add myself?

The tower arrives with a Threadripper 9980X, 64GB DDR5 ECC, two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives, a 10TB SATA HDD, an RTX 5080 16GB GPU, a 360mm liquid cooler, a Seasonic 1600W PSU and Windows 11 Pro. No monitor, keyboard or mouse are included.

Should I choose the 8TB NVMe pair or a different capacity for my workload?

The configuration ships with two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO modules for 8TB total NVMe storage. If you need more high-speed space, the board offers four M.2 slots so additional NVMe drives can be added later.

How does the 64-core CPU perform once it is installed in this liquid-cooled system?

The 64-core Threadripper 9980X runs at 3.2GHz base with a 5.4GHz boost and 256MB L3 cache, cooled by a 360mm quiet-edition AIO, so sustained multi-thread throughput stays high without thermal throttling.
