64-Core Threadripper Workstation

This business desktop ships with a 64-core AMD Threadripper 9980X processor running at 3.2 GHz and reaching up to 5.4 GHz. It includes 64 GB of DDR5 ECC memory, a 2 TB NVMe SSD and a 10 TB SATA hard drive. Liquid cooling and a 1200 W power supply complete the tower platform.

Professionals Needing High Core Counts

The system suits users who run heavily threaded workloads such as rendering, simulation or large-scale data analysis. It is not for buyers who want more storage bays than the case provides, nor for builders who need a second graphics card slot.

Tower Build With Liquid Cooling

The Corsair 5000D frame houses a 360 mm AIO cooler and a Thermaltake 1200 W Gold-rated unit with a 140 mm fan. The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard adds rear USB4 Type-C ports, 10 GbE LAN and four M.2 connectors. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

Questions about this item

Does the Threadripper 9980X require an sTR5 motherboard socket?

Yes, the 64-core processor fits the sTR5 socket on the included GIGABYTE TRX50 AERO D board.

Will the RTX 5070 12GB GPU work with a legacy monitor that only has HDMI 1.4?

The graphics card provides modern outputs; an HDMI 1.4 cable will carry a signal but cannot exceed its own bandwidth limits.

How can I confirm the Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD is running at PCIe 4.0 speeds after Windows 11 Pro loads?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, choose the 2 TB drive, and verify the link speed reads PCIe 4.0.
