64-Core Threadripper Workstation

The Adamant Custom business desktop centres on a 64-core Threadripper 9980X processor running at 3.2 GHz with a 5.4 GHz boost. Liquid cooling handles the thermal load of 128 threads. It targets professionals who need sustained multi-threaded throughput for rendering, simulation or large-scale data analysis.

Liquid-Cooled Tower With 10GbE And 4xMiniDisplayPort

A 360 mm quiet-edition AIO cooler sits inside a Corsair 5000D Frame case with tempered glass. The 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU uses Japanese capacitors and a 140 mm low-noise fan. Rear I/O includes two USB4 Type-C ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 and a Marvell AQtion 10GbE LAN port. The RTX A400 GPU drives four MiniDisplayPort outputs for multi-monitor setups.

Upgrade From Dual-Socket

This single-socket platform replaces dual-CPU workstations that required more space, power and cooling complexity. The jump is worth it when workloads scale across 64 cores and 128 threads without needing more than 64 GB of DDR5 ECC memory. Buyers who need more than four display outputs or more than 10 TB of mechanical storage should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What PCIe generation does the Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD use, and what sequential speeds does that limit it to?

The 1TB Samsung 990 PRO connects through a PCIe 4.0x4 M.2 slot, capping sequential reads at 7450 MB/s and writes at 6900 MB/s.

What case clearance and mounting points are required for the 360 mm liquid cooler?

The Corsair 5000D Frame case fits a 360 mm radiator with three 120 mm fans; the cooler mounts to the sTR5 socket on the GIGABYTE TRX50 AERO D motherboard.

How is the 64 GB DDR5 ECC memory installed, and which slot population rule is often missed?

Populate the eight DDR5 slots in the motherboard's recommended order — typically one DIMM per channel first — so the 64 GB kit runs in full octa-channel mode with ECC active.
