Workstation for CAD and simulation

The Adamant Custom desktop pairs a twelve-core AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor with 128GB of DDR5 memory and an NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell graphics card. A 2TB NVMe SSD handles active projects while a 10TB hard drive stores archives. Liquid cooling and an 850W power supply support sustained workloads in SolidWorks and similar applications.

Upgrade from older multi-core workstations

The move is worthwhile when single-thread frequency and large L3 cache reduce rebuild times in parametric modelling, or when 24GB of GPU memory lets you keep full assemblies in VRAM. Buyers whose current machines throttle under long renders or crash on large datasets will see the clearest benefit.

Check power, space and display needs

The system draws up to 850W from a standard mains socket and fits a mid-tower case measuring 477mm deep by 220mm wide by 486mm high. No monitor is included, so verify you have a compatible display input. The motherboard offers Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5G Ethernet, but confirm your network infrastructure can use them.

Questions about this item

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler fit inside the 477 mm deep Antec P10 FLUX case?

Yes, the 240 mm radiator is designed for the case and the chassis provides front, rear and PSU-shroud fan mounts for the cooler.

Does the motherboard have a free M.2 slot to add a second NVMe drive later?

The PRIME X870-P board includes four M.2 connectors; one is occupied by the 2 TB Samsung 990 PRO, leaving three open for additional NVMe SSDs.

When will the 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU likely need replacement?

A quality 850 W unit typically runs five to seven years before capacitor aging makes a swap advisable.
