Workstation for CAD modelling

This workstation targets engineers and designers who need a 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor, 64GB DDR5 memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell GPU with 16GB VRAM for SolidWorks, CAM and CAE tasks. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and a 240mm liquid cooler in a tempered-glass mid-tower case.

Suits single-GPU workflows.

Buyers who need more than 16GB GPU memory for large assemblies, or who require multiple graphics cards for rendering farms, should look elsewhere. The 850W power supply and single PCI Express x16 slot limit expansion to one professional GPU.

12-core Ryzen 9 9900X3D with 128MB L3 cache

The processor delivers 12 cores and 24 threads at 4.4GHz base clock with up to 5.50GHz boost, paired with 128MB L3 cache to accelerate cache-sensitive modelling workloads. This CPU specification determines whether the system matches your simulation and design requirements.

Questions about this item

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler keep the 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X3D from throttling during long renders?

The 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO is designed for the 9900X3D's thermal profile; sustained all-core loads stay within boost limits without hitting the thermal ceiling.

How loud is the system when the RTX PRO 2000 and 850 W PSU run flat-out for hours?

The 140 mm PSU fan and 240 mm AIO both use low-noise profiles; under full load the chassis stays at a quiet office-level hum.

Does the Prime X870-P board need any extra parts to use the two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives at PCIe 4.0 x4?

Both M.2 slots are wired for PCIe 4.0 x4 from the CPU, so the drives run at full 7450/6900 MB/s speeds with no adapters required.
