What the card is and who it suits

This ADATA Premier microSDXC card provides 64GB of storage for phones, tablets, drones and action cameras. It carries UHS-I U1, Class 10, V10 and A1 ratings so it handles Full HD 1080 video and app launches without stutter. An SD adapter is included for use in larger slots. The card is new and ready for everyday capture tasks.

Practical limits of the UHS-I interface

The UHS-I bus caps sequential reads at 100MB/s and writes at 25MB/s, so sustained 4K or high-bitrate workflows will hit a ceiling. V10 guarantees only 10MB/s minimum video write speed, which matches 1080p but not higher resolutions. A1 helps random IO for apps yet does not change the sequential ceiling. Buyers needing faster sustained throughput should note this bottleneck.

What this replaces and when to step up

The card replaces older Class 4 or Class 6 microSD cards that struggle with 1080p recording and slow file copies. Moving up from 16GB or 32GB versions adds space for longer shoots without changing workflow. If your device supports UHS-II or you record 4K, this UHS-I card will not fully exploit the hardware.
