Dual-connector 32 GB flash drive

The ADATA i-Memory AI720 combines a Lightning plug and a USB 3.1 Type-A connector in a 7.5 mm sliding body. It is aimed at iPhone and iPad users who need fast local backup without cloud fees, and at anyone moving files between iOS and Windows or Mac machines. MFi certification guarantees official Apple device support.

Plug-and-play with app-assisted backup

Insert either end into the host device; no driver installation is required on Windows 7, 8, 10, macOS 10.6 or later, or iOS 8.0 or later. The bundled i-Memory app handles one-touch backup of photos, videos and contacts and can record 4K footage directly to the drive. Thick case cut-outs are accommodated by the extended connector, though the slide mechanism can feel stiff on first use.

32 GB capacity with 90 MB/s read speed

The single figure that decides fit is the 32 GB capacity paired with a USB 3.1 interface rated up to 90 MB/s. Buyers who need more storage or who rely solely on USB-C ports should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the AI720 is achieving up to 90MB/s after I plug it into a USB 3.1 port?

Copy a large file to the drive and check the transfer rate in your OS; speeds up to 90MB/s are supported on USB 3.1.

Does the box include any cables or adapters, or only the AI720 drive itself?

Only the 32GB AI720 flash drive with its integrated Lightning and USB-A connectors is supplied; no extra cables are included.

Which capacity should I pick between the 32GB AI720 and a larger model for one-touch 4K video recording?

The 32GB version holds less footage than higher-capacity models; choose a larger drive if you record long 4K sessions.
